I was born in New Zealand, raised across America, Qatar, and Australia, and carry an Iraqi heritage. Sounds confusing? Same here. But I wouldn’t trade my multicultural upbringing for anything – it’s shaped how I see the world and the way I connect with people.
Growing up, my life revolved around two things: football and hip-hop. These days, it’s family, friends, and giving back to community through creative endeavours. I’ve developed a real passion for public speaking and have been fortunate to regularly speak to audiences of up to 400 people.
Alongside some close friends, I co-founded The Disruption, a podcast speaking to pop culture and current issues. I also love building things – whether that’s a brand, a website, or a marketing strategy – and bringing ideas to life through design and storytelling.
At the core of it all, I just want to help people. I want others to see the beauty of life through everything I create – whether that’s through my marketing work, podcasting, community work, or any other project I’m blessed to be part of.
